Don't Mock the Mock Neck

Happy Friday! Let's start the weekend off right with some weekend-wear inspiration. As you'll come to notice, I love wearing dresses. They are one of the easiest outfits to style because the top and bottom are all in one. No need to fuss over whether that blouse matches that skirt.

I especially love the cut of this high-neck, exposed shoulder dress because it emphasizes your shoulders and hugs your body in all the right places. I know I'm no Kim K, but I feel most flattered and ultra-feminine in a dress that pays compliment to any curves I may have.

I styled this stunning blue number from Sassie Ann with a relaxed maxi cardigan, a black clutch, my favourite Valentino pumps and some eye-catching sunglasses. I feel ready for any and all occasions that tend to pop up over the weekend like Church, a party or even a hot date with the hubby ;)!

  5. I love that neckline as well - I have a lot of friends that avoid high necklines that like, I'm just like, bring it on!!!

    1. Yeah?? What do you think makes them avoid it? Maybe it's not balanced with the sleeves. I can see how it may come across as too matronly if not cut right. But I love how the exposed shoulders on this dress really balances it out <3

    1. You soo are not the only one! I could wear them as dresses or tops but I prefer when the shoulders are exposed with the look. I think it balances it out a lot better! Thanks for the love babe xoxo!
