Lost in Time: A Jord Watch Review

In the summer, I try to be as close to the water as much as possible. Even if I'm not planning a full beach day, I like to walk on the pier, grab a bite to eat and just be outside to enjoy nature's beauty. I visit White Rock Beach frequently because it's close by and holds major sentimental value for my hubby and me. 

I met and fell in love with my husband when I was a teenager (our 11 year dating anniversary is next month!). I remember him picking me up in his RX7 sports car and taking me to White Rock Beach to hang out. We even had our very first kiss on the pier. Visiting this nostalgic spot always reminds me of how fast time flies! 

Speaking of time, I received this eye-catching wooden watch by Jord and I'm in love. I've always enjoyed the androgynous vibe of the boyfriend watch and love how this particular watch adds a feminine touch with its rose-gold face. I own one gold-framed and one silver-framed watch and find that I need to ensure I match my accessories or hardware on my bag and shoes accordingly. Since this watch has a wooden frame, I find it to be a lot more versatile for styling. I've even been able to dress it up with my favorite LBD for a classy occasion. 

Women's watches can be tricky to shop for if you don't know what you're looking for. I knew what I wanted and this watch met all my expectations for a wrist watch: versatile, durable, comfortable and unique.
