Dressing Up Your Denim

Sometimes when you live somewhere, you don't make the effort to explore your surroundings. I feel like I'm always longing to travel but I've come to realized that there is so much of my city that I have yet to see. My best friend and I decide we would play tourists for a day and had so much fun exploring.

For our day out, I wanted to dress up my distressed denim.l. Normally, I would throw on a t-shirt and call it a day, but sometimes I'm in a dress-up kinda mood. I find denim can be styled in so many ways. Throwing on a pair of heels or sandals really takes the look from casual to dressy. A detailed top (lace, off the shoulder, ruffles) can also elevate the look of your denim instantly. Heading into fall, adding a statement blazer or sophisticated trench is another way to play with the

Ps. Next time I decide to explore my city, I'll probably opt for more sensible shoes....ouch!
