The Oversized Shirt: A Transitional Piece

I'm slowly transitioning my wardrobe for fall as the days get a little cooler and wetter. Sometimes it's challenging to find something to wear during those in-between days because it's not warm enough for a bare-legged dress and it's not cold enough to layer up. This over-sized shirt dress from Simplee Apparel paired with over-the-knee booties is the perfect solution for that pesky and unpredictable seasonal weather change. To offset the masculinity of the over-sized shirt, I paired it with a lace bralette and trendy choker.

    Beauty! Girl, I just bought a similar shirt dress although, I prefer yours. I shot it and have trashed the pics. Not sure if I like the cut of mine! I adore the way you styled this with the boots. I've yet to get any new ones for fall. I have a really cool tie I've been playing around styling it with but I just keep getting the Austin Powers vibe (if you saw the tie you'd understand. It's got a very 60's print) So thank for some serious inspo!

      Oh no! I'm sure it looked beautiful babe! I love the tie look with shirt dresses, super cute! I do see how you could feel very 60s in it if the print has a paisley floral print or something a long those lines. Glad I was able to inspire a look for you to try babe!

      Thanks babe! This dress works well for cooler weather with tights or high boots for sure! It's pretty light so when it cools down even further, I'll probably throw a cardi over it!

    Girl you look so good in an oversized shirt! With those boots this is sheer perfection. I think the transition months from summer to fall/winter are the worst in Phoenix. You step outside and it's so cool, but then by lunch time you're peeling off your layers! It's crazy and I hate it haha. This is a really great idea for a transition outfit. :)
