My Favourite Holiday Baking Recipes

Wishing a Merry Christmas (Eve) to you and your family! Today I wanted to share a few last-minute baking recipes to try. These are a few of my favourite Christmas baking recipes that I usually make every year. The awesome part is, some of the recipes are actually "skinnier" versions of the real ones but are just as tasty! Oh and are there any Starbucks lovers out there? I have a few classic Starbucks holiday baking hacks to share as well!

Starbucks Ginger Molasses Cookies

I'm the type of gal that looks for chewy goodness in a cookie. These Starbucks gingerbread cookies have always been my favourite and when I found a recipe hack, I was beyond excited! You can view the full recipe here

Cranberry Bliss Bars

Now I make this recipe at least every Christmas and sometimes for Thanksgiving too! These are the skinnier version of the Starbucks recipe but taste just as sinful! You can find the recipe over at one my my favourite cooking blogs, Skinny Taste

I also make thimble cookies and chocolate chip shortbread but they've been passed on to me by my best friend's mom and I need to check with her before sharing with you all! Maybe you'll see it in a future post ;).

I'll be signing off until after Christmas so have a blessed holiday filled with family, friends and most importantly love!

  24. I havn't had the cranberry bliss bar in so long, but there was a time that I was eating them almost daily when the holiday season rolled around! So, you know I've just bookmarked this page and I intend on making these; I love that recipe you've shared is a lighter version because I don't think my body will thank me for all these extra calories I've been (over) indulging in, haha! Thanks so much for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you're enjoying the very best of this holiday season!

    1. Hehe! Glad I share my cranberry bliss bar obsession with someone! You can't even really tell the difference between these and the non-skinny ones!

  25. I totally recognize these guys from Starbucks! That's awesome you found some skinnier versions too. Probably best to avoid the Holiday calories. Though this is typically the one time a year that I really indulge. Speaking of, I need to be on my way to the gym in a sec (I am probably going to die)! Sounds like you had a fabulous Christmas with lots of baking and good treats. I signed off for Christmas Eve and Christmas day as well. I am getting some content ready for this week, but for the most part I've been pretty silent. Can't wait to get back in the swing of things! Have a great New Year Rina!

    1. Oh I totally overindulged over the holidays too! Just started going back to the gym regularly this week =P And not all my classes are offered so I'm only really partially back! Can't wait to get back into routine too, but not before I go on a lil vacay <3
