Wedding Bliss

I attended a beautiful wedding on Granville Island over the weekend and the venue was so perfect. The couple chose a stunning restaurant overlooking the water. The ambience was stunning and the food was to die for! I'm still dreaming about the crab cakes and chicken satay.

I ordered a dress from Top Shop on sale a few weeks ago and it turned out to be a little more revealing that I had anticipated. The back opened up pretty much to my bottom which definitely wouldn't work for my taste. I didn't want to give up on it just yet because it was such a beautiful colour and the top part hung so nicely on my frame. I decided to try it under various skirts and voila! I was able to put it to use after all!

If you're ever trying to put a different spin on one of your existing dresses, trying pairing it under a skirt for a completely different look.
