Tartan Love

I feel like it's been ages since I've been able to put out a new blog post.  Some of you may or may not know that I work full-time as a Registered Nurse. I put together blog posts during the evenings after work and on weekends. Lately, I've been quite tired after work so I apologize for not being present over the past few weeks.

On a brighter note, two weeks ago I had the privilege of attending Xpocity, Vancouver's first shopping social at the Four Seasons Hotel. I wanted to wear an outfit that was easy to transition from day to night. I built my outfit around this gorgeous tartan vest that I found during one of my recent trips to Winners.

This outfit was very much inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker circa 2006 at the Met Ball wearing Alexander McQueen. Tartan has definitely made a come back for Fall this year and I plan to be wearing it through to next year. I paired my red tartan vest with a black midi skirt, silver belt and peep toe booties.
