Summer is here and the weather should be warm and toasty, but where I live rain is still a regular occurrence - even in the summer. With rain comes humidity, stickiness, and discomfort and the last thing I want to do is wear a pair of pants or tightly-fitted anything against my body. I would rather opt for a nice summer dress and throw something not too constricting over it, like this light and airy trench coat.
The middle slit in this dress is what first caught my attention. It allows me to move freely while adding a sexy, yet sophisticated touch. It has a very retro vibe and paired with the trench alludes mystery.

I love these shades of tan/brown together, they compliment each other so beautifully. And those sandals! Insert heart eyes emoji here. Those are fabulous.

DeleteI actually love wearing dresses in the rain too - that way if your legs get wet, you can just wipe down instead of having wet denim stuck to you all the time! It doesn't rain much in California though.

I think you look great! The split on the dress made it look more special. On a rainy day I like to wear my rainboots, and probably wear skinny jeans and a shirt. Not very glam, but very comfy :)
