The Transitional LBD

I love garments that have the ability to be transformed into multiple looks. You can accomplish this with an LBD that works well for layering, has minimal (or no) bulk and a design unique enough that it could stand alone as an outfit. This dress can easily be styled for Fall and Winter by throwing on a pair of tights, a slouchy knit sweater and some booties. Or slip on your favourite chunky knit and style it as a skirt. Add some sleek fitted over the knee booties (like these) and you're ready to take this look from day to night!

How would you style this LBD for Fall or winter? Do you have any favourite garments that you wear all year long?

  24. Aww I love the LBD. I am so used to seeing the bodycon ones, it's nice to see someone wearing a little boho LBD haha. I think a waterfall jacket would look nice or maybe even a blazer if you wanted to dress it up a bit. I don't typically wear many dresses in the fall time, or ever really because I HATE my legs. We all have the one thing we hate, and for me it's my legs. So I stick to jeans mostly. For a favorite garment I wear all year long, I'd have to say a flannel tied around my waist. I love that look! And I am such a 90's kid. I think I'll be wearing it for a while. ;)
