Look 1
Look 2
When shopping for vacation clothing close to season change, I choose pieces that can work into the upcoming seasons. Preparing for my trip to Mexico, I knew I would be returning to cold weather, so it was essential to find garments that would work for both the heat and cold. Pieces that can be layered are perfect because you can feel comfortably dressed with varying temperatures.
When I first tried on the green dress in Look 1, I knew I found the perfect transitional piece. I was able to wear it with a simple tank in sunny Mexico and now that I'm back home in the cold, I can layer it with a fitted long-sleeve top and my favorite OTK or ankle boots.
The white tuxedo top in Look 2 instantly caught my attention in store. I loved the high neckline and cascading effect of the hemline. I knew it would work well for both fall and winter seasons as I can pair it with my favorite fitted leather leggings or denim and dress it up or down with my accessories. Perfect for work or a date night with the hubby!
How do you ensure you get the most wear out of your vacation clothes?

Love that you do this, thinking about both how to wear it there and home! Love the idea of buying clothes that are easy to layer and works for both weathers. Easy but so good, also loooove the white top! I don't remember if I gushed about it on IG already, but yes to it!! Xx
