When shopping for a bell sleeve top, you need to choose one that won't overpower your frame. If the sleeves are too long or wide, they may look disproportionate to your body. I chose to pair my top with high-waisted denim pants to cinch my waist and give me shape. Since bell sleeves are very unstructured, they need to be paired with bottoms that won't make you look boxy. Tucking your top into your high-waist pants or skirt will allow you to wear the style without looking shapeless.
On a side note, how cool are these photos taken at the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art)? The hubby and I tried to visit several museums that day, starting at the Broad in Downtown L.A. Unfortunately, we quickly found out that if you're not there an hour before opening you will be waiting at least 3 hours to get in. The LACMA was a lot easier to visit and there was no wait time. We also visited the Getty on another day which I highly recommend for beautiful city views!
What do you think of the bell sleeve trend?
