High Tea at Twenty-Five

Last month I celebrated my 25th birthday and decided to host a backyard high tea to celebrate. I love anything to do with hosting, decorating and organizing, so putting together a backyard bash seemed like the perfect party idea.

My grandma had generously passed on her china collection to me and it worked perfectly for the party.

I had thought of purchasing tassel garland for the event, but decided to invest some time in a little DIY once I found how easy they were to make.  Find out how to make your own here!

I partnered with beautiful Katie (pictured left) from Resting Dough, who provided the event with delicious treats. My best friend Katrina (pictured right) was also gracious enough to lend her kitchen and help out with a lot of the treat preparations. Tomorrow I will be sharing further food and treat details so remember to check back!

It was a beautiful, sunny and warm day and I felt so blessed to share it with my favourite ladies. We ate, laughed, sipped and ate again and I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend the day. Cheers to another year!

Special thanks to the amazing woman that has been a part of my blog since the beginning, Alanna. Thank you for spending the time to capture the day and providing us with memories to cherish forever.
