The Choker Makes a Comeback

When they say everything old is new again, it couldn't be more true for fashion. I remember wearing black tattoo chokers in grade school (back in the 90s/early 2000s) and now they're back in style! Chokers are a really easy and inexpensive way to complete and accessorize any outfit. If you've been following my blog, you've probably seen me style them with a variety of different outfits (click here, here, here or here to view past styled looked with chokers).

I've recently stumbled upon MoonChild and fell completely in love. They carry a large selection of chokers, necklaces, dainty and detailed rings and every other jewelry piece your little heart could desire. Check out some of my other favourites from their line here, here, here and here. 

I styled my grey velvet choker with a very 70s-inspired outfit: thigh high boots, faux fur jacket and a long midi dress.

    I know the post is about the choker, but hands down to this 70s outfit! I love that you feel the 70s vibe, but it's still a modern look that is very up to date.     This is such a cute outfit. I am loving all the neutral tones, but you already knew that haha. I have been wearing chokers for so long now! I feel like this was the one trend in my life I was actually on top of. I feel like I saw a ton of Aussies wearing chokers like three years ago, so I started to.
