We made it to day 3 of NYFW which was an exciting day for me for several reasons. I attended my first fashion show this day with Nolcha shows and had the privilege of watching All Comes From Nothing on the runway. Everyone was dressed so well it felt a bit intimidating to be in a room full of fashionistas and fashionistos? Is that a thing? Anyway, there were some really well dressed men there too!
It is definitely not hard to get into a comparing mindset when at fashion week, especially in New York. You start to doubt your fashion choices and wonder "do I look like I even belong here". I decided to put those nagging thoughts aside and concentrate on being inspired by everyone's fabulous ensembles rather than feeling insecure.
In hindsight, I may have been bolder with my fashion choices when attending because, why not! If there is a place to rock the things you've always wanted to try, NYFW is the perfect platform. I plan to share everything I learned after my first NYFW experience in an upcoming post so stay tuned!

In between my day and night shows, I had the chance to explore Greenwich a bit and fall even more in love with this part of the city. It has quickly become one of my favourite places to be and every single corner is so photo-worthy!

For my day outfit, I went with a super on trend pinstripe blazer from Dynamite and a graphic tee. I paired this with a bright skirt to really make the outfit pop and some funky ornamental glasses to add a unique flare to the overall look.
This was probably one of my favorite outfits from NYFW because it pushed some fashion boundaries for me.

You were dressed so beautifully for the Nolcha fashion shows I just couldn't resist commenting again! You must have loved being at the hub of one of the world's most interesting cities for seeing trend-setting fashions on the streets.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately verizon has been throttling my internet so getting the 'All Comes From Nothing' website to load took forever - but it eventually did and I finally got a peek. I thought Looks 5, 10, 16, 18, 20, 31 and 44 were nice, and I noticed that Looks 7 and 19 featured front split wrap skirt designs a little bit similar to the design of the skirt you wore - except that the gorgeous yellow skirt you wore is much, much more pretty - you looked amazing. It's wonderful you got to experience and enjoy the shows!
