Spring Fashion Trends 2017: Embroidery

We've reached the last post of my Spring Trends Series and it's all about embroidery! Embroidery can be found on jackets, denim, tops and dresses this Spring. It's the perfect way to wear Spring florals with a bit of a twist! 

Above, I've styled two very different embroidered looks. For the first look, I dressed up my embroidered halter top by pairing it with black cropped trousers and a pair of mules. I wanted the embroidery to really stand out so I kept the remaining pieces neutral and basic. That's one thing I love about the embroidered trend, it stands out on it's own! 

For the second look, I chose a more casual embroidered sweatshirt and paired it with relaxed denim. This look is easy to throw on for a busy day filled with errands or for running around. 

With any embroidered piece you may chose, remember that it's a standout piece on it's own so you don't need a lot of competing patterns, prints or accessories when styling. So go out, be bold and try something with an embroidered design this Spring!
